Smutty Movie Night presents… Let Me Suck Your…?

Spooky Season is upon us! And that can mean only one thing here at Smutty Movie Night HQ: Halloween smut! That’s right! Vampies, giant spiders, horror, and lots and lots of… sucking. Our first feature is the giallo-inspired Nuda per Satana, a strange little Italian gothic horror film from 1974. Described by author Louis Paul as a “demented exercise into semi-pornographic skin flick horror”, you’re sure to love this if you’re a fan of filmmakers like Dario Argento and Mario Bava.

Our second feature of the evening is 1978’s Lust At First Bite (aka Dracula Sucks). A very sexy adaptation of Bram Stoker’s original story, this film will both scare and titillate and scare you in equal measure. Well OK… it probably won’t scare you that much but then isn’t a sexy coven of vampires more of a turn on anyways?

Rope is one of the most intimate, erotic, and elegant tools for bondage, yet it is also perhaps one of the most mysterious, complex, and in some ways dangerous. This four-part serial course will start with the basics of rope bondage and give participants opportunities to explore, practice, and integrate various techniques and different approaches for engaging power exchange and bondage through rope. Focusing on communication and intimate connection, the course will focus on using rope on the floor as well as integrating furniture (beds, chairs, tables), and sex toys (vibrators, dildos, floggers) into rope play, culminating in the process of building your own rope bondage scene.

The course is geared toward couples or trios and there are no pre-requisites or necessary background knowledge. Classes build from one to the other, and participants are expected to commit to attending all four sessions in order to maintain continuity.

In this class participants will learn tools to attune to their own body’s state and sensations in order to deepen intimacy with their partners. Using basic rope bondage techniques, we will focus on connection and attunement to create a unique experience with others.

Building on the work of Vlada, this simple harness has a variety of fun applications for suspension, from single point calf binders, to challenging Daruma variations and waki sarashi inspired shapes. It’s ease of use and quick application makes it ideal for challenging and dynamic shapes in partial and full suspension, and it’s self adjusting tension makes it surprisingly sustainable for models.

Riggers should be familiar with infinity tie, as well as suspension lines, as neither will be taught in this class. Riggers unfamiliar with Infinity should attend part one of this class series.

Models should be comfortable communicating their needs in rope, and familiar with their nerve pathways and body in suspension.

Rope can feel intimidating, so let the capable folks at Birdhaus introduce you to the world of Shibari, as we give you the essential tools for tying with a focus on playful, meaningful connection.

We’ll cover the basics in a clear and easily accessible way, and teach you how to apply them in a stress-free environment to maximize fun.

In this class we’ll teach you the basics of getting yourself stuck between a rock and a hard place.
We’ll cover the basics of predicament setup and safety, some tools for exploring ways of crafting delightful torment, and share some quick options for maximizing your fun in this playful and challenging approach to rope.

Riggers should be very comfortable with rope fundamentals, as well as capable of tying a simple chest harness and futomomo. The suspension lines are optional in this class, however folks familiar with suspension will be able to achieve more challenging shapes.

Continuing with our exploration from Part I, this class introduces basic chest harnesses, ways to anchor your rope to objects, as well as ways to integrate furniture into your play. This class will also focus more on ways to improvise with the basic concepts you have learned in Part I in order to explore bondage with your partner

Prerequisites: Beginner Bedroom Bondage (July class) or Basic Bedroom Bondage: Parts 1. Participants should be able to tie basic single and double column ties and should have had at least one prior class where they were introduced to the basic principles of consent, communication in rope, and safety, as these elements will only be reviewed in this class.

Self Tie Friendly?: No. As this class will involve a lot of partner communication and negotiation, self-tying will not be part of the curriculum.

The extra special theme for our first Thursday Night Smut is… WTF??

We know our beloved smut can be sexy, silly, and playful. We also know it can be strange and weird. But on the rarest of occasions it can be so twisted it leaves us wondering “what the fuck did I just see???”

This month’s films do just that! It’s a double feature of the bizarre, the weird, and the WTF. Our first movie, from 1975, is evocatively titled Confessions of a Teenage Peanut Butter Freak. Come along as our protagonist Billy regales us with stories of the teenage sexual traumas that led to his sexual connection with… yes, you guessed it… peanut butter.

Our second movie a surprise that you truly have to see to believe! It’s a film so strange and weird you won’t know whether to laugh, cry, scream, or shake your head in utter confusion and disbelief. My guess is all of the above! The only hint we will offer (because we don’t want to not spoil the surprise!) is that this film was found sometime in the 90s, in an unlabeled box in the basement of a derelict porno theatre in Memphis, Tennessee. Let your imagination run with that!

Her coaching practice primarily focuses on helping ethically/consensually non monogamous individuals navigate their relationships.

A world of potential awaits when you take backbending to the air, as without that pesky ground in the way the potential for thrilling and demanding shapes expands. In this two hour class, we’ll explore various ways into and safely out of backbends in the air.

We’ll cover pros and cons of harnesses for achieving impressive and sensation forward ranges of motion, lowering into poses versus lifting into them, and ways of moving the strain of the position through different chains of the body.

Prerequisites:

Riggers: all bondage basics, bondage safety for suspension, at least one sustainable upper body harness and one sustainable lower body harness, confidence with suspension lines, good communication skills.

Models: tolerance of sustained time in positions that create rounding or arching of the spine, confidence communicating needs in rope, ideally some suspension experience.

Exploring our partner’s ability to backbend through hogties, kneeling poses and more are one of the classic ways to enjoy positional restriction on the ground. In this 90(ish) minute class, we’ll explore how to create exciting and sustainable positional strain.

We’ll discover the different ways to manage safely creating the effect of a curved spine, tackle the ways that these positions can create strain on the ability to breath, and explore options for both intensifying and bringing ease into this demanding and thrilling range of motion.

Building on Part I, we’ll shift focus to dynamic suspension transitions. You’ll analyze how historical ties move in practice, then work hands-on to modify and integrate them into new sequences. This is an advanced, highly participatory session - expect to experiment, observe, critique, and push your suspension skills into new (and old) territory.

Get comfortable getting messy as we explore tying our partners (or ourselves) with no plan. We’ll cover some basics of tying technique outside of harness patterns, including tension management, strategies for good friction placement, and manipulating the body in unstructured ways.

ZIP LINE NIGHT! ZIP LINE NIGHT! We’ve got a packed evening ahead as rigger friends @bh.rope and @tifereth.rope build ziplines, dispel myths, and recklessly copy cool shit they saw circus people do on instagram.

Also joining in the fun - @coirefood will be launching their Tuesday service to Birdhaus, so come hungry and ready to order some delicious sandwiches hot, fresh and ready to fuel you on your tinkering adventures.

This class is intended for those who have some experience with full static suspension and want to begin their journey into dynamic movement in the air.

We will learn two basic transitions that move the body from facing up to facing down and then from facing down to facing up, including how to move one line as well as two lines at the same time to create movement.

Prerequisites for Riggers: Be able to confidently and safely tie any chest harness that can be loaded front and back. Be able to confidently and safely tie a hip harness that can be front loaded. Strong rope management and confidence with uplines and lock offs. Good communication skills with models.

Prerequisites for Models: Experience being fully suspended (static) and some experience with transitions would be ideal. Body awareness and able to communicate while in suspension.

Curious about how to integrate rope into your bedroom play? This class will introduce you to the basics of how to playfully and safely use rope for your bondage play.

You will learn basic ties (single and double column), ways to anchor the rope of objects as well as basic and fund ways to tie bodies and body parts together for sexy bondage play. We will also cover basic safety as well as consent and scene negotiation for beginners.

Birdhaus launched in the Entertainment District’s notorious 263 Adelaide St W shortly followed by a move to a larger historic space in Liberty Village. An expansion to a larger space just off Queen St came in 2024 along with expanded content, a cocktail program and so much more.
